What Happens if I Launch, But it Doesn't Pan Out as Expected?
Sometimes, things don’t go as planned, no matter how much you want them to. Being a Brick partner generally doesn’t require much time once you have placed your stations and managed the network, but the situation may change where you no longer can continue.
Partnership Agreement
At Brick, the partnership agreements are 12 months at a time. Should a partner wish to end the partnership before this, we will still require them to pay operation fees for the duration of the agreement or make a lump-sum payment for the remaining fees. This is to ensure that the promise of the service is consistent for the brand, venue, and end-user in every part of the world.
No matter the reason, you can end the agreement after the agreement period is over. We always write unilateral agreements unless specified otherwise, meaning that only our partners can end the agreement. If you need to do it beforehand, let us know and we will settle the remaining fees, if any. When ending the agreement we will send a final invoice for the balance of fees related to the contract, closing access to the Brick platforms.
Stations
As a partner, you start the partnership by buying the hardware. When ending the partnership, you will have the possibility to sell your hardware for a 20% of the initial invoiced value to us or any partner in the Brick community, a deal that Brick HQ will broker. Brick HQ does not offer to buy back hardware unless we’re able to provide a functioning rental flow for the end users
As we embark on this exciting journey together, we want to assure you of our unwavering commitment to making this partnership a success. However, we also recognize that despite our best efforts, there may be unforeseen challenges along the way.
Brick's Dedication
We understand that sometimes, despite our collective dedication, partnerships may not unfold as anticipated. Should such circumstances arise, we pledge to approach them with transparency, integrity, and a willingness to explore alternative paths forward. Ultimately, our goal remains the same: to cultivate a mutually beneficial relationship built on trust, collaboration, and shared success.
